- Perform hand hygiene
- Tie the hair into a compact bun
- Separate the elastic gathering of the cap
- Place both hands inside the cap and spread out the cap completely
- Pull the band portion of the cap down over head and tuck hair into the cap
- Make sure the nape of the neck and ears are covered

- Pull away the cap at the level of neck.
